Do you follow any health protocols during COVID-19?

Our staff practice CDC-recommended safety protocols including masks, handwashing and social distancing at all times.  On shoots, we expect all participants to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth; only those on camera at a particular time are permitted to remove their mask.  In addition, we can provide temperature screenings on location, as requested.

Can I hire you to shoot raw footage only, and give it to me for editing elsewhere?

In most cases, yes, this is a service we can provide.  We can also make referrals for this service to one of our trusted freelancers.

If I shoot raw footage myself, will you edit it?

Generally, no.  The only exception is the rare instance where we have a client provide us with supplemental footage which we will edit for incorporation into a larger project for them.

Why does it take so long to finish a video, from the time the footage is captured?

The editing phase of the video - called ‘post production’ - typically takes four to six weeks. This process involves many elements including footage review and selection; securing of music and other assets; creation of graphic/motion/thematic elements, text keys, etc; sound editing, color correction; client review and feedback of draft versions; and other tasks. These take time and are orchestrated by a skilled editor.

Are you hiring? OR I am a freelancer and want to offer my services; how do I submit a demo reel/tape?

 We are not hiring at this time.  If you wish to submit samples for future consideration -- should an opportunity occur, please send it to [email protected].  We will maintain your submission for one calendar year.

Do you do livestream events? Weddings? E-learning videos? Music videos?

No, these are not services we provide.

Do you accept credit cards? What are your payment terms?

Yes, we can issue an invoice via Square, upon request.  All invoices are due upon receipt.  Larger projects can be broken down into two payments to correspond with milestones in the project timeline.

Can you provide proof of insurance?

Yes.  We carry general liability and Worker’s Compensation insurance. We can issue a customized COI naming ‘additional insured’ or ‘certificate holder’ upon request.

Good-Fast-Cheap

When it comes to video, everyone wants it good, fast, and cheap. The truth is, no one can have all three because:


  • It can be good and fast, but it likely won’t be cheap.
  • It can be fast and cheap, but it likely won’t be good.
  • It can be cheap and good, but it likely won’t be fast, because this type of work is not sought after.

We know our clients want us to make great video as quickly and cost-effectively as possible, and we always strive to do our best to deliver all three
